God The Daddy | Kristofer Cowles | Live Youth Presentation

Live Recording

Venue: St. Mary Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church | Caldwell, Texas
Event: Journey High School Youth Program

This presentation is more of a conversation with forty high school youth group members. It’s an explanation – light-hearted and not overwhelming in theological or scriptural exegesis – while focusing on our relationship with God The Father and how, over thousands of years, He has shown us the Daddy He wants to be for us, and how we can have that relationship with Him.

This presentation focuses on Faith & Reason and how the Church teaches that the two do not conflict. It gives the youth a concrete answer and proof of God’s existence that empowers them to answer questions from the intellectual non-believer they will encounter as they matriculate into higher education and the professional world. This interactive conversation is light-hearted and suitable for all ages.

This presentation has some elements familiar to those who have heard The Wobble Talk and was created as a result of me being asked to expand on that presentation for this particular Day of Reflection at a Catholic High School. The presentation is interactive with the students and concludes with some discussion and questions. It is suitable for all ages.
